32 days after passing my order, I'm still waiting for my 10v.
It's probably because I ordered the Ubuntu version with 2gb of ram already installed..
I'm gonna try to get some kind of compensation from Dell because of the crazy delay.

When I first ordered they told me the estimated shipping date was september 28th, I already thought that it was slow because I ordered on sept 15th.
After the 28th, I sent them an email and they told me I would get it by october 22nd, I'm still waiting and I wrote to them saying that they should have offered me the xp version or something and tell me about what was going on. I'm asking for a compensation because of this crazy delay.
Also, they are now selling the 10v with either windows xp OR windows 7. I thought that maybe the windows 7 could come with 2 gb of ram, (since the 1gb ram and 160gb hdd were conditions that came from microsoft in order to allow a machine sold with windows xp on it instead of vista........)
But no, they don't offer more than 1gb of ram.
Right now I kinda wish I could cancel my order and I'd just buy something else.
The dell 11z seems awesome but you can't get os x on it.

for a lark, I typed 'ubuntu' in the dell.ca search field and there is the mini 10v with Ubuntu! Strange.
You can custom order it with the N270 or N280, as well as the usual customization perks.
I'm gonna put an order in for one and see what they say for shipping time etc. and I'll report back here.
