It depends on where your XP home license came from. If it was an XP home OEM licence which came bundled with a computer then it'll be locked to that specific hardware and not usable on the mini, in which case I'd get a mini which ships with XP. If its a retail licence for XP home, then you'll be fine with saving money and buying a mini with Ubuntu pre-installed. There is nothing special about the copy of XP Dell Pre-installs; you can get all the driver's from Dell's website.

Ok thx for the info.
Also, I noticed that the xp version has the N280 CPU while the linux has the 270.
My xp license came with an old computer.. so it wouldn't be legit.
I'm thinking about dual booting xp and os x tho. I'll buy the xp one for the better cpu and get the ram somewhere else.
Any good place to get that 2gb ram stick (in US or CAN)? edit: that's the best I found: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...82E16820148162
