Default Argh! Not fair. - 09-04-2009, 06:09 PM

I got my new Dell Mini 10v yesterday. It is a new, Product (RED) Ubuntu Mini with the 8GB SSD and 1510 wireless. And I can't use it.

I'm getting it as a birthday present. I got it yesterday (3rd September). My birthday is October 12.

I got to use it for a day just to make sure that it works so we could send it back if it didn't work, but mum has taken it away until my birthday. Argh! (I tried telling her that treating the Windows 7 Professional disk (of 2) that we are getting could count as the birthday present, but no.)

Uh... sucks to be you?

What are you seriously expecting people to say about this? If your parents bought it for you for a birthday gift then consider yourself lucky. Netbooks are pretty pricey for a birthday gift

It is either receive it as a gift or purchase it on your own... like many of the members have.
