I am running an 80GB 7200rpm drive. I took it out of my 17" Everex when I upgraded it to 320GB 7200rm. The old 120GB 5400rpm HDD is now my USB ext. HDD. I didn't have the 120GB in there for long before swapping it out, but it does seem a bit snappier with the 7200rpm drive.
