Default Power adapter compatibility - 08-30-2009, 11:26 PM

Hi all,

Does anyone know if the mini 10v power adapter is compatible with the mini 9?

I have a mini 10v and my wife has mini 9 and we are continually battling over the power socket to plug in our adapters.

Yes they are compatible - the 10v charger comes with a little LED on it to indicate power but is otherwise identical.

I can second the successful power adapter interchange. I still have my old Mini 9 (doesn't get used much anymore, sadly) and I take its power adapter with me on trips to charge my Mini 10v. I leave the Mini 10v adapter plugged in behind my desk at home. I also bought a car charger on eBay that works on both.

All Dell Mini adaptors are the same, except the newer ones have an annoying LED on the plug

Please do not send me support requests via PM.
