Lightbulb Dell Mini10V Boots Bootcamp and XP on GUID partition disk - 08-22-2009, 12:01 AM

The Dell mini 10v will boot(!) right off the Bootcamp partition on a GUID Mac OS partitioned disk. It even finds most of the drivers to give you a working XP installation (including touchpad) but no wireless.

No hacks are done to the disk. Just unplug the disk from the Mac and plug it in the Dell Mini and voila! XP is booting up.

Perhaps this is old news but certainly not to google ..

Sorry to revive this old one, but what does that mean?
I need to use xp from time to time, do I have just to install it (via mac) in an external drive, plug the drive on the mini, and that's it?
