Thanks for the info. What connection speeds are you getting in N mode? I get 270 meg on my 270 equipped 10v's.

Since you're running A05 bios (I assume because I haven't seen a 280 equipped maching running anything else, it doesn't make much sense as to why it would work with a different operating system.

How 'bout all you other 10x guys? Got a 1510 in a 280 equipped machine? What connection speeds are you getting?

You were lucky, then. The 1510 in my N270 10v was nothing but trouble from the day it arrived. I ultimately decided to upgrade to the Intel 5300 since it was cheaper than returning the unit to Dell and paying the 15% restocking fee.

Even if someone is able to figure out a way to make the 1510 work more consistently, I don't think I'd switch back. The Intel card has been great - much better than any Broadcom card I've used in the past.

I agree, I also went to the Intel 5300 and would never switch back.
