Default 10v with 120gb drive and osx - 07-28-2009, 02:47 AM

Can I install OSX on this drive? everyone is talking about a SSD. I dont want to pay add'l money for another drive when this is 120gb. Also can u change the half mini 1397 card out if i decide to upgrade to N network? Thanks

You'd need the part numbers to get the N card from Dell, but you can most definately replace wifi. And the 120GB drive works just as well as an SDD for OSX.

Dell mini 10v: N270, 2GB RAM, 120GB HD, A03, no BT, OSX 10.6.1

I'm not sure why everyone thinks that with the 10v you have to have an SSD to install OS X. Installs just fine on the stock 120 GB HD (it's what I have in mine).
