It's easy. Remove the three keyboard screws and then remove the keyboard. One screw for the HD and slide it back and lift.

I've got a 10v coming with the 16gb SSD and am going to put a WD 320 gig HD in it. I've got the 160 gig in my current 10v and have already used 51 gb so there is no way I can do a 16 gb card. Maybe I'll give you a good deal on it.
I've done the ram upgrade and it's quite a bit of work, but if you're anal about it, you're careful with the cable connectors, make sure to get the cables in their little troughs and are patient with snapping on and off the plastic pieces it's doable. And BTW, if you're going to replace the HD you might as well go ahead and do the ram.
