Default Anyone tried the ebay hard case for 10v ? - 07-27-2009, 08:28 PM

Such as :

CLEAR mCover® HARD Shell CASE for 10" Dell Mini 10 10v on eBay.ca (item 230359799419 end time 29-Jul-09 10:45:00 EDT)

I ordered the clear one since my girlfrind hates how the black 10v gets tons of fingerprints on it. It looks dirty...

The case looks ok, protects the netbook and has 2 small feets at the bottom so the keyboard becomes tilted forward. Works with 3 and 6 cells battery.

I will tell you how it is when it arrives. Anyone of you have one ?

Default I like it - 07-27-2009, 10:26 PM

I got one of these last week along with the cover for it.
I love it I also got the clear one.
There's not much to say it fits perfect the legs are fragile.

I have the clear case. It works with my 6-cell battery.

Default Got one - 11-20-2009, 01:13 AM

I just got a clear one on eBay. Fits my Mini 10v perfectly, got it in four days, good protection, good build quality. I have a Speck clear case for my MacBook Pro that cost 3-4 times what this did and it seems to be just as good.

I lvoe the bottom part of this clam shell. The legs give a good incline to the keyboard and allows more air flow to the ports on the 10V.

I use a SGP textured thick leather skin for the top of my lid.

Have the clear one for a few months now - really like it except that the bottom right front corner just won't stay on - they even sent me a new bottom after I had this problem with the first one - their customer service is really good - just for some reason my 10v just likes to kick off the bottom right corner. *shrugs*

Mine too..its like the 10v is a little crooked? But it doesn't bother me much.
I need to find some rubber nubs for the bottom of the protector so my hackintosh won't slide around so much on slick surfaces.
