Post War Craft 3 Frozen Throne Test on Mac OSX and Windows 7 REVIEW - 07-23-2009, 06:38 PM

Specs: 1.6GHz Atom, 1GB RAM, 160GB HD 5400RPM, GMA 950, and wireless N.

MOD: Don't move this to gaming, this is more to help guide buyers and user to choose which OS.

Mac OSX: 10.5.7
Mac is real nice with the resolution, I didn't have to hack the registry to get it to run 1024x600. Automatically it had that setting.
High lag but runs okay 15-20.
Medium 18-23 and
Low just like medium but a bit better.
That's just single player but online and for Dota (I'm banned on some server games now ><)
IT LAGS! LIKE EVERY SINGLE SETTING POSSIBLE @ 640x480 low low low off of of, definitely not playable

Windows 7: RC2 7201
Even without the GMA 950 booster the game ran good.
High/medium/low was about the same as mac, but for some reason
It seem if mac ran smoother on all settings in single player, I don't know why, it's probably my eyes.
For online, definitely play 640x480 and low setting if u want a GOOD game of dota, when it gets busy and hardcore spell left and right but u can still click and run without the screen pausing!
Honestly the GMA 950 booster didn't make a difference. maybe 1 or 1.5FPS
It's possible to pull a 640x480 medium or 800x600 low, but I'm a bitchin good/safe dota player =).

For the record that stupid GMA 950 play ability list sucks, it's not possible to play this
game on high, EVEN on single player. Maybe for a few seconds until you notice the dramatic lag.Although, native resolution+high does make the game look amazing . Native(1024x600)+medium runs really nice on single player and online DOTA. Low that **** down to the core. Be ready to be the last one done loading .

I'll trying to find a way to OC'ed the CPU, Like my dell mini 12 and Wind.
