Default Boot Camp in OSX - 07-17-2009, 01:41 PM

Got my 10v yesterday. Upgraded to 2GBAM . Have 10.5.7 running on my entire hard drive. Want to dual boot now but wondering if I can use Boot Camp? I get an error message that says:

Boot Camp Assistant cannot be used. You must update your computer's Boot ROM firmware before using this setup assistant.

Is there something I can do about this or am I going to have to use the method anguish posted for dual booting.

You will need to follow Anguish's method to dual boot, Boot Camp only works on a real Mac.

On a positive note, you can remove Boot Camp and free up some space. Probably not an issue with the 10v if you have a hard drive, but on my mini 9 it freed up some precious space.

Thanks. I'll have to give the dual boot a try.
