Default Linux 8GB model upgradeable to HDD? - 07-15-2009, 02:39 PM

Is the 8GB Linux 10v capable of being upgraded to a 2.5" SATA HDD? If so, I could get a 2.5" 160GB disk for less than what Dell want, and get a 8GB SSD in the process, which would be useful for a OS X install (if combined with SATA-USB adapter).

Yes you can - I actually sold my 8GB SSD for £45 on eBay and replaced with a 120GB HDD for £25. I think there are lots of people out there who want to try a SSD so you can sell them yours and then fit as large a HDD as you want for less money!
