Hello everyone I have been reading this post and would like to thank everyone for their hard work on getting everything working I currently have a mini 10v 1024x600 screen bluetooth 120gb screen wireless g card and everything works. The touchpad does take some getting used to and am using the v17 of the driver as it gives better results imo. The problem that just started occurring is my bluetooth mouse will drop in and out and it will give me a prompt saying connection was lost. At first I had everything working 100 percent but, now bluetooth is giving me issues i already tried running dellefi again selecting only the fix bluetooth option but that did not fix the problem any thoughts?

Works perfect, even after sleep!! I had the voodoo kext. sound was intermittent. I tossed the voodoo pref pane and the voodoo kext in the extensions folder. I restarted it and made sure there was no sound in the output or input. I then installed all these kexts at once and restarted. I tested with ichat and its perfect. Fine job fixing the sound on the 10v!!

For the past couple of months I've been reading this forum on the Mini 10v and finally took the plunge. Got it in the mail on Friday and have been trying to get it to work since.

So far I have got 10.5.6 running on it just fine, everything but the Audio. I had a hard time getting the darn thing to boot into OSX without the boot drive (used the 2 flash drive method and DellEFI1.1) kept giving me a kernel panic, turns out I needed to delete the AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext to get it to work (something I have not read anywhere).

So, now here I am trying to get Audio and I have followed all the instructions and still cannot get the Sound Preference Pane to show any devices. I never tried any other sound fix, so when I needed to delete the existing kexts I just removed the AppleHDA.kext, installed the new audio kexts through kext helper (still not sure if I need the IOAudioFamily or the HDAEnabler) and tried two ways, one regenerating the dsdt.aml file afterwards and without. All times times to no avail.

Were there other kexts I needed to delete before installing the new ones?
Do I need to run the DellEFI again afterwards and reinstall the extentions?

I just feel like I am missing a step and would REALLY like to have audio. Any help would be wonderful. Thanks in advance.

Are you using the Vanilla audio fix (not the voodoo one)? If so then the modified AppleHDA needs to be in there.

audio is working great here sleep included you need 4 kexts AppleHda HdaEnabler VerbHelper LegacyAppleHda also to have the 10v run cooler install voodoopower

wow. cooler could be helpful. Does Voodoo power slow down OSX?

That is correct, not using VooDoo at all, I have AppleHDA installed, do I still need the IOAudioFamily.kext too?

I played for it a while last night after my post, and still could not get it to work.

nope its still pretty peppy also download genericcpupmcontrol it will give you temp info select which setting to use for power and show you current cpu speed

EDIT: I am currently using touchpad v17 drivers as v18 as where buggy the touchpad is useable but still buggy

yes the internal microphone works.
