Anyway, if you are running a 10.5.1 install then you should NOT do the incremental update! You have to download the combo update from Apple's site, extract the pkg and use that instead. If you run the incremental update you will run into issues. But yeah, basically everything else about your comment should work. I would go with DellEFI's newest version though, I believe it's like 1.2a5 or something...I tell you what, just follow this guide and you should be golden, just obviously start from the point where you are at and not the beginning of the guide. Good luck, hope it works out How to Install Mac OS X: DellEFI Method

installed osx, then w7 - everythign working in w7, easyBCD done to add osx boot option, then boot using the 123 drive to boot into OSX, dellefi 1.1 and then reboot - i see the easybcd boot menu for both. at this point I can boot into w7 fine but when booting into OSX, I am stuck at the spinning wheel. what a drag. tried booting using -f option, diabled bluetooth in bios etc.. always stuck at the spinning wheel. any help? thanks UPDATE: Booted into OSX using the Syslinux123 boot drive, ran dellefi again to delete the dsdt.aml and ran it a second time to generate the dsdt.aml file again. That did it. Not sure why I did it - i vaguely remember reading abt it somewhere at some point. Anyway, dual booting on the 10v with OSX (everything working except internal mic) and Windows 7 - perfect!! This is better than the Mini 9 ![]()
