Which ones are the ones I posted? And, do they have htem already compiled? The only reason I posted the ones I did are that they were already compiled. I noticed that the static that I get seems to occur only after I put OS X to sleep.

I downloaded, built, and installed the latest version (2.2) of VoodooHDA. I did notice that the sound output is listed as "Speaker / Headphones" where as it had been listed as "Line Out" or the like before so the VoodooHDA that anguish posted is definitely not the latest. Probably the pre-built 2.1 that is available for download from the website. The inputs are now listed as "External Microphone" and "Internal Microphone". Alas neither seems to work.

I've tried to attach the version 2.2 VoodooHDA package that I built from the latest source code as a 92KB ".zip" file. It contains the kext as well as well as the app "getdump" for gathering HDA hardware information. Any thoughts as to why the file upload fails?

Still hoping we can get a sound input working.

This is kinda OT but for those of you who own a 10v how comfortable is it for long typing sessions? I love my mini9 but always use my "normal" sized thinkpad for papers, etc. because the 9 is not really conducive to typing a bunch of stuff. Do you find that the bigger keyboard is very similar to a "normal" keyboard? Thanks.

The Mini 10v is a lot closer to comfortable than the Mini 9. That was why I jumped to the Mini 10v and got rid of my 9. The keyboard is much longer, and makes for easier longer sessions.

I hooked up my Plantronics USB headset and the mic works (earphone too). With that I have an OS X netbook with all of the functions I need. Note that the internal mic and the line in still do not work. I have high hopes that these issues will also be resolved as the VoodooHDA driver matures or we learn how to tweak it for use w/ the 10v.

I can confirm the audio crackling does only happen after it wakes from sleep, but it's still very annoying. Hopefully 2.2 fixes this. If you guys could get that up today it would be amazing, thanks.
