Yeah, I'll definitely have more updates as we go along. I'm on my second install now of OS X. Wifi is giving me shitfits this time around. Airport is there, it sees the card, but it's not showing any networks or anything. I'm going to try regenerating the dsdt.aml file and reinstall the extensions and see what happens. Okay, I think I have the wifi thing figured out. Reinstalling the extensions and regenerating the dsdt.aml file didn't seem to do anything. So I went into the Networks under System Prefs, and removed both the hardwired and airport. Recreated the airport, and it worked like a charm. Will the 10v accept a standard 2.5" Mac laptop hard drive? If so, I wonder if I could put in a 7200 RPM 320G or 500G hard drive... |

It should. It's a SATA interface, but it's a 2.5" drive. So I would be inclined to say yes, but since I don't have anything to test with, I can't confirm. I've got OSX working on my dell mini 10v now as well. Had some funky install issues (maybe because of 10.5 disc?). Working on getting the combo update going. I'm not even supposed to be here today. |
