Okay, got my 10v, and here's what I've stumbled across so far to this point:
- OS X installs just fine.
- Text for the wizards (and consequently the buttons) get chopped off a little, but are still very usable.
- The initial conifguration wizard the first time you boot into OS X does not work. It doesn't like the screen resolution.
- I tried using DellEFI 1.2a5, had limited success.
- I tried DellEFI 1.1, and it works well.
- Initially wifi wasn't detected right away. I don't know if there was an issue with DellEFI 1.1 or 1.2a5, or if it was just OS X being pokey about it.
- Bluetooth was recognized right away.
- The installer saw that I had a wifi card, so that was good.
- Once wifi was detected inside the actual OS, I was able to see and connect to wireless networks.
More to come as I just completely wiped it out again to reinstall OS X, as well as Windows 7. Needed to redo my partitioning, and since I just got the thing today and got it earlier than expected, I'm getting 'er done now.
ETA: I am the wifi card is the 1510 (802.11g/n).
EDIT 2: Wifi is finicky. I got it to work by removing the Airport adapter under Network and then readding it (see below).
Also, SOUND does NOT appear to be working at this point.
EDIT 3: Sound does work. Use this link:
http://www.blackmonktech.com/NC10%20...ackage.pkg.zip Install it, reboot, should be golden.
Also, now running 10.5.7. I did incremental (software update) vs combo update, followed the methodology from the 10.5.7 thread, no issues there either.
