Default Current mid-range 64GB SSD Augst 2012 ? - 08-20-2012, 02:00 PM

Can anyone recommend a current mid-range 64GB SSD to buy August/September 2012 ?
I nearly paid up for the OCZ Agility 4 today, but after reading amazon it appears it has a high failure rate.
Has anyone put a 64GB SSD in a 10.6.7 Dell 10v with no kernel panics etc ?

So far found the Crucial M4 and Samsung 830 series have good reviews and both 64GB.

I'm just looking for a good reliable SSD that works with a Dell hackintosh after cloning it in my hot swap caddy.

Fixed the "hibernate image is too old by xxxx" splash !
Fixed my external LED !
Got 2 GB fitted today ! .....on the last mile to get a reliable SDD inside now.

SSD is your choice, they have not proven reliability over a standard HD *YET* in my eyes, I personally would just get a large 500gb-1tb drive and go on..Good Luck

BTW: you can get a 1 terabyte HD (5400rpm) for about $110

Dell Mini 10 (Obsidian Black 1010), 2gb RAM, 1.66ghz 533mhz FSB (Z530) processor, A10 BIOS, 1 Terabyte (1000 GB) WD Scorpio Blue Hard Drive (5400rpm), Intel GMA 500 Integrated Graphics, TV Tuner, Bluetooth 2.1 module with EDR, 1.3mp Camera, 1366x768 HD Screen, Wireless 1510 b/g/n mini card, 6 cell (56WHr) Battery, 4gb SDHC, 64gb Flashdrive, Targus Netbook Chillpad, Targus Sport Case, Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 (500gb)/Windows 8.1 (500gb) (Dual Boot)

iPad 4 (64gb) w/Retina,Targus Versavu Case

I've had an SSD before in a Macbook and the last 13" Air's built-in SSD. Reliability reads better than spinners on paper for the better brands, but it is performance I'm after...boot time and app opening speed which feels like 10x regular spinner. It is like day-and-night as far as I found the difference before doubling your CPU and RAM in an instant!
I have a 2TB external and want to just get the Dell 10v snappier.
