Hi everybody.

I´ve bought a Dell Mini 10v two weeks ago. I didn´t had any OS X version, so I tried with Iatkos (10.6.2 OS X) installation. The installation was fine, but there are many things not working (internet, keyboard, mouse, card reader...).

So I decided to do it right. I ordered an original OS X installation DVD (10.6.3). I have an external USB CD/DVD drive (used to install Iatkos on the Mini). I´ve tried in differents ways but I can´t boot the computer with the installation DVD, always load the OS.

Could you please help me?

PS: I can use the iatkos OS with an external USB key board and USB mouse.

It's not possible to boot directly into the Mac OS X DVD. There are other ways I've seen documented but the simplest would be to find someone with a Mac running OS X, use Disk Utility (the Mac's Utilities folder) to copy the DVD to an 8GB USB thumb drive, then run the thumb drove through NetbookBootmaker (free download).
