I've finally successfully updated to 10.6.8 thanks to the many guides here, and have everything working well! That said, I have a question: Has anyone figured out a successful way to active TRIM support for non-apple SSDs on the 10v? Ive got a simple Kingston 30gb in there that I would like to keep as long as I can, so TRIM could potentially come in handy in the long term. I tried Trim Enabler 1.1 with no success, but I'm hesitant to try 2.0 since I read somewhere it requires 64-bit. Has anyone used TE2.0 successfully? Any other methods/ideas? Thanks! |
