Default Should I spend money on my 10v hack? - 03-20-2012, 08:56 AM

I've been thinking of upgrading my ram and hd for a while but now my screen has developed a white line running from top to bottom. Although it is still usable I'm wondering whether to spend the money on it or get something similar to hack, perhaps something that will run ML.
I use my 10v daily as it's small enough to sit beside my till that I work on so if I replace it it will have to be something not much bigger.

Upgrading RAM is cheap, but it probably won't make a big difference in how you use it. Can you afford to replace it? There are similar-size netbooks on the market with newer processors, though not from Dell.
