How can you restore a legal 10.6.7 Snow Leopard dmg to a thumbdrive using 10.7.2 Lion? I keep getting this: To restore the disk image, Disk Utility must scan it first. I click Scan Disk Image and I get Unable to scan "Generic Flash Disk Media." (Resource Busy) Update: Solved it by mounting the .dmg in disk utility under the file menu, then selected "Mac OS X Install DVD" sub-menu under the "Mac OS X Install DVD 10.6.7.dmg" and dragging it into the Source field, and then dragging my "Untitled" into the destination field. |
