Default Sleep Broken after 10.6.8? - 07-12-2011, 08:50 PM

I've gotten my 10V to work with 10.6.8 with legacy kernal but now sleep is not working, I've tried lots of the "fixes" from threads but nothing is working, still won't wake, I have to hard reboot..any ideas?

Have put SleepEnabler and run update extra.app afterward?
How about the BIOS settings?

Thanks r6680jc, I've got it working now, I had used Nawcoms Kernal which I thought included sleepenabler, but reinstalled the kext and ran updateextra and working now, all is happy in hackintosh land!

Hi r6680jc

Yesterday for the first time I installed mac os x on my dell mini 10v from a clean install of 10.6.3 and then updated to 10.6.8. I have never used mac os before. Today trying to fix the problem of sleep I followed your instructions but apparently I did something wrong and my dell mini 10v has been stuck on the splash screen loading the system. Is this normal? What can I do? I would greatly appreciate your help.

thanks

Pd. sorry for my english
