NBI 20100616212351 wont as of now work on the dell mini 10v 1011, with the update from 10.6.7 to developer beta of 10.6.8, the screen just restarts, in verbose only the first 3 lines appear and the netbook restarts, my mini is in tripple boot mode and win 7 and ubuntu 11.04 work fine. warning to all as of now NBI 20100616212351 wont work..

plz reply with further attempts. and meklort needs to step up his game now with a really strong NBI, guess apple finally is gonna win the hackintosh battle. but we cant loose the war...........

Sadly, meklort is MIA and has been for almost 4 months. He is gone for good and we have seen our last NBI.

is that true? it would be a pity if we couldn't close this chapter with out a working resolution to the last step up date to SL.. 0SX.7 precludes mini 9 and 10 artictecturhe...

i'll have to wait until the official release of OSX.6.8 to know for sure.. 8 seems to be primarily concerned with 'thunderbolt' data compliance protocols for SL so shouldn't effect what we do primarily anyway..(mac rumours gossip)

but any way it was one hell of a ride ... and my mini will run SL for ages to come, I'd like to say hi to all the good people on here.. see you all in the next life

I am sad if meklort is indeed gone for good. Hopefully he or she is involved in a great project and will be back in the future. My thanks for all the great work meklort has done. I have had many hours of enjoyable and sometimes frustrating effort with my 10v but the end result is a useful and really cool little Mac machine.

Looks like meklort is working on Lion along with nawcom. It's a human being's nature to go further to the new world. The Lion is not hardware-compatible with 10v and NBI will (or have) come to its final destination soon.

Anyway thank meklort and all of you here for my SN 10v. I first installed SN onto my 10v in Dec 2009 and have been using it as one of my primary machine. I remember I brought it to the TED conference and processed administration work for my TEDxRyukyu event online. Some people at TED put curious eyes onto my 10v and it was fun. Recently it has never left my office desktop since I began to use an iPad for my portable use. My 10v will be a 10.6.7 machine or a Linux machine until the end of its lifetime.

According to AppleInsider the major 10.6.8 purpose is to "Enhance the AppStore to get your Mac ready to upgrade to Mac OS X Lion". All the other changes are minor. No need to run 10.6.8 on mini then.
