Has there been any progress towards enabling Mirroring in 10.6.7?

Upon searching there seem to be some who have enabled it in previous builds, but have those methods been confirmed to work in x.x.7?

I currently have my external monitor connected and working with both resolutions accurate, but would love to enable Mirroring.

Yup, basically extend works, mirror doesn't.
