Okay, I have been having this "hibernating is too old by x" and ive keep trying to do everything that ive read on this forum, ive read every post. downloaded everything, types the two 'sudo' codes in, i dont know if i did it the right way, because i dont know if im in the terminal, i dont believe i am, this is my first hackintosh, i need some help. any suggestions? anyone willing to do an ichat, or phone conference to help me thank you

My reply is not going to help, but I too had the same issue.

I am building my first hackintosh, I installed OSX 5.1 OK, then tried updating to 10.5.8 and got the same error.

Just ordered Snow Leopard and will start again.

My BIOS is A00 which may be the problem? Elsewhere on the forum A04 seems to be the favourite?
