Default Did anyone get this working? - 04-26-2012, 04:39 AM

I finally broke down and hackintoshed my mini 10v because I want to do Iphone development... Snow Leopard works beautifully and my hat is off to all involved!

However, I have just come to find out that Apple doesn't offer xcode 4 for SL any more. I don't have the money for a new machine... certainly not with the Apple markup... and just shelled out $100 for the Apple developer fee only to discover I still can't get xcode 4.

Update: My membership finally went through and it looks like their is a secret download where xcode 4.2 is still available for SL, for now.

Nonetheless, it would be great to run Lion on my Dell... so as soon as someone gets this working I would be eternally grateful!!!

Lion should work on the mini 10v. I know nawcom made a kernel for it; however, the mini 10v has a 32bit Intel Atom N270 and the current release of Xcode requires a 64bit processor. So, even if you did manage to get Lion running on the Mini, which I'm sure is possible, Xcode wouldn't run along with other apps such as Finder (there are workarounds). And yes, Xcode 4 is available for Snow Leopard.

Is there a step by step guide out There? I'm running 10.6.7 just fine but recently got An iPhone, making the prospects of running iCloud on my netbook seem worth the hack. Would it be just as fast though?

Probably won't happen. Apple made finder 64 bit only, so you have to hack it and several other 64 bit files. It's not just a case substituting older 32 bit files. A few have SAID they've done it and would give details, but haven't. I think it's too much hacking.
