So I purchased a Mini 10v this past summer and upgraded to 2GB of RAM. The install of 10.6.3 went well, however, when I updated iTunes, it crashed the system. I simply reinstalled from square one and held off on the iTunes update. As I am a student, I have been reluctant to do any upgrades during the school year, as I need my computer each day. However, I do want to upgrade to 10.6.7 now that it's the end of the academic year.
As someone very new to the hackintosh world, what do I need to be aware of? Do I need to upgrade one version at a time, or can I go straight from 10.6.3 to 10.6.7. Also, any thoughts on how to upgrade to iTunes 10 without it crashing? Any help would be appreciated - I read of "kexts" often but I do not know what one is nor how to replace them.
