Default What is the latest NetBookInstaller? - 04-19-2011, 03:33 PM

I have a Dell 10v running 10.6.7. I want to clone the drive but don't know what NetBook app to run over it to make it bootable as I didn't set this one up...can someone please provide a link to the installer I should use. Thx

EDIT

I found NetbookInstaller 20100616212351 but when I open it ready for install it states...
WARNING This will install to the selected disks MBR

I don't remember seeing this warning before, do I have the correct installer?

Yes, that is the correct one. The warning was put in place in case someone tried running it on a real Mac so as not to screw up their system.

The newest NBI is 0.8.5Pre, but it is a pre-release and has some bugs. A newer version is supposed to be coming out, but hasn't as of yet.

I would use the one you listed.

Mini 9 | OS X 10.6.7 | NBI 20100616212351| BIOS 05 | 32 GB Runcore | 2 GIGS RAM
10V | OS X 10.6.7 | NBI 20100616212351 |BIOS 06|160 GB|1 GIG RAM| 6 Cell Dell Battery
Functioning Hibernation

Back up Mini 9| OS X 10.6.7| NBI 20100616212351| BIOS 05 | 32 GB SuperTalent | 2 GIGS RAM
