Default Help! I bricked my Mac10v! Kernel panic while trying to update 10.6.3 to 10.6.7 - 04-04-2011, 02:19 PM

Hi all,

Did something really dumb. Accidentally installed NBI 8.3 on my Macbook and cancelled it halfway and tried to force an eject. When I rebooted I got a kernel panic. I can't boot into safe mode. I take it it's hosed, and I should just reformat and reinstall OSX?

unfortunately...yes I do believe your going to have to reformat and reinstall...bummer. Do you have your files backed up on a time machine by chance?
