Default Sleep problem & not the usual one. - 04-04-2011, 04:20 AM

Hi folks.
So during the update to 10.6.7 I used the wrong NBI - .8.5 and caused a kernel panic. I finally fixed that by using a different tool like NBI - however now I cannot sleep. If I put it into sleep mode my screen instantly goes black and the light does not blink, it just remains steady. I cannot resume it either. I've tried a new sleep.ktext but it didn't help. Running and re-running NBI isn't any help either.

Any thoughts? Thanks!

Same experience I have on my Latitude 2100. Sleep has never worked in spite of suggested fixes.

Thanks for the link, but my Latitude 2100 is actually a netbook geared toward education and business sector, much more akin to a Mini 10v than to any normal laptop.

No discussion of the 2100 series on OSXLATITUDE. Still, the site will definitely come in handy on my larger Latties.
