Hi all,

I have a few questions about OSX on Dell 10vs or 9s that I haven't had much luck finding the answers to on this forum:

1) What is it that breaks OSX if I run the upgrade without the NBI?
2) I'm currently on retail Snow Leopard 10.6.3 - can I update directly to 10.6.7 or so I need to do it sequentially?
3) This is a dumb one but I didn't want to assume - the NBI runs from OSX, right? I downloaded it to my Windows machine thinking I needed to mount it to an image using TransMac but the files didn't make sense to me.

okay.....1st things 1st, you need to download NetbookInstaller 20100616212351

run it within osx on your mini...
Then run the software update...10.6.7
Then re-run NBI before you reboot...this is an important step!
Then reboot, let the NBI files patch everything for like 10-12 mins and your done!
Then...enjoy the Mac app store :-)

I followed your simple instructions, after downloading the Combo Update from the Apple website, and it all worked perfectly.

Am now running 10.6.7 !
