I just signed up on this community and posted on the newbie forum, then realized I should have posted my question here instead. Anyway, I'm a bit lost here.
I'm trying to build my first Hackintosh. Got a Dell Mini v10, but I'm having some trouble:
The BIOS version is A06
OSX is 10.6.3
I'm using Oscar's guide to installing without a USB DVD drive.
I've made the images as described using his instructions.
Made the requested changes to BIOS.
What happened is that I try to boot up the smaller USB stick, and I get "Invalid or damaged Bootable partition" so I imaged the smaller image to another USB stick and then I get "Pen Drive without Operating System. Remove Pen Drive and Reboot" along with the errors "PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable" and "PXE-M0F: Exiting PXE Rom."
Am I using bad USB flash drive or something? I'm starting to worry about the 16GB stick I just bought today that has the OSX image on it.
I'd really appreciate any guidance here. Thanks!

Oh, waitaminute. I reread Oscar's notes and realized that the ISO creation generated ANOTHER file that I was supposed to image. I placed the .dvd file into the image. DUH! OK I got it to load and now it's at the Apple logo with the little clock icon that's spinning. That's been 2 minutes now. I'll keep you guys updated!
