Hello guys,

I am not a regular user of this board, but I kindly ask you to help me a little bit.

More than a year ago I got my Mini 10v and after of hours and days of exhausting struggle I managed to make my dream come true - Dual Boot of Win 7 and Mac OS X as a primary OS. I even managed to upgrade OS X, but it required me even to replace kernels, what I did not like and it was not a fun

Enough of this.
What I want to do is to upgrade my 10.6.3 to 10.6.6 without any kind of problems. I do not want to lose any data or to have "limited" access to my computer for days. You may think "well, that's easy, there are plenty of guides".. Well, my resources are limited. I do not have NBI, I do not have external drive or the USB that I used when I was installing the whole stuff.
Therefore I kindly ask you to show me maybe some guides or just write what to do to upgrade, without problems and without equipment I previously used.

Most of us didn't use a method requiring us to change kernels.

If you don't have the resources, I would either not try the update, or wait until you can at-least make a working, bootable clone of your OS X install before trying to update.

Not what you wanted to hear, I'm sure, but without knowing more specifics about your set-up, and dual boots are tricky anyway, I just wouldn't chance it.
