ok.. yeah, i was gonna include that, and then i forgot to.
so, plug your install USB to your mini, when it gets to the boot selection screen, use the left and right arrow keys to highlight your OS X drive in the mini--do not hit enter.
while that's highlighted, type.
what you type will show along the bottom of the screen.
hopefully that will get you to the desktop, but as i said before, have a usb keyboard and mouse ready just in case.
i hope that'll get you through.
i'm actually looking for my copy of 10.6 to see if i can update that version straight to 10.6.6 (my last install was 10.6.3).
