Installing 10.6.4 with NBI 0.8.4 - 09-10-2010, 07:42 PM
I am on the verge of buying a 10v and transforming it into a minitosh.
I am wondering about what version of Snow Leopard to use. I will be buying a retail disc from the Apple store, which will likely have either 10.6.3 or 10.6.4
Are either of these compatible with NetBookmaker? or would I need to track down another version of Snow Leopard
EDIT* I just read on http://www.meklort.com/?p=248 that the 10.6.3 DVD will work with NBI 0.8.4 RC1
Additionally, The 10v I am picking up will likely have the A06 BIOS - which should be compatible with the latest NBI. Correct?
Thanks in advance guys!

You should be fine using the Retail Upgrade disc and that version of NBI/NBM.
Before you try an upgrade to 10.6.4, download and run the version found in the first post here-

Otherwise you will be here asking why it no longer boots.
The BIOS version you mentioned is no problem.
