Default Installing Snow Leopard on Dell Mini 10v Help - 08-17-2010, 08:10 PM

Okay, so i'm not a mac owner and have progressed thus far using just a PC. I copied the Snow Leopard 10.6.3 disk onto my external HDD using transmac, and put NBI_083F onto a 1gb Usb stick using Win32 Disk Imager. I have tried repeatedly to install Snow Leopard on my Mini 10v, but i keep receiving a kernel error.

I select the OSX install DVD, which takes me to the white screen wit the apple logo - then after a couple of seconds the screen changes to:

I'd be incredibly grateful for any help at all, and if someone gives me the clue to installing this successfully, they can have the contents of my PayPal account (only about $5.50, or £3.50 in my neck of the woods, but still it's better than nothing )
