Hello all, I have a Mini 10v running OS x (10.6) - brand new. The battery died a few days ago and now when I boot I get the following message: “Warning: The battery cannot be identified. This system will be unable to charge this battery. Strike the F1 key to continue.” What I've tried so far: -Plugging adapter into different outlets -Reseating battery numerous times with machine on and off -Searched endlessly for articles, posts, etc. with similar problem, but no help found... so far Any assistance with this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

The battery cannot be identified. The system will be unable to charge this battery. This is an error on startup , and the power and battery flash like x'mas tree! P.M me pls Dell Mini 9 {Win XP} |

dead battery, you need a new one... this happened to me on a 6cell i bought, i returned it for another one and it works perfect. |
