I have a Dell 1011 8363 model with the lower res screen 1024*576
First problem is I cannot see the continue button if i use the built in display.

if i put on a external screen I can install os x but for some reason when i try to install 10.5.6 update from a download from apple's website, it tells me that i cannot install in on this laptop. My os x disk is a retail of 10.5

I install os x using a cd and this boots it then i have to swap to the os x disk.

What get sme i had a dell 10v 1011 model with the 1024*600 screen and i was able to install that one fine, did have a few problems but I was able to sort it and it worked.

Just strange that this one will not work right...as i cannot do much to finish the install due to the 10.5.6 error..
