Default Help with 10.6.4 update - 08-09-2010, 04:02 AM

So I decided to take the dive. I installed the new NBI. Ran it. Then I installed the update. It rebooted and I saw the little NBI laptop thing. It rebooted again and now it shows a circle/slash and a spinning circle. Please help me!

I looked around and tried the rd=diskx and it still didn't work.
I run it in -v and I get
From path "uuid"
Waiting for boot volume with uuid "string of alpha-numeric"
Waiting on <dict ID=0>...
Still waiting for root device.
Still waiting...

Doesn't this mean the rd=diskx should let me get in? I tried 0,1,2 and 3. I doubt its any higher then that. When I get to the boot options, it even says hd(0,2) OSX. Please help me@

Check out the sticky thread, I think you need to boot into recovery mode and apply the latest developer build of NBI meklort provided in that thread, not sure if it'll work for you though.

Dell Mini 10v, 2GB, 32GB SSD, 56Wh Battery, Snow Leopard 10.6.4, Xcode 3.2.3 and iOS SDK 4.0
