I ve installed lidsleep.kext published under meklorts blog and now my computer doesn not boot up. I ve been using 10.6.4 update without problem. How can i revert this situation back ? pls help |

Give this a shot. When you boot up the machine, hold shift until the Apple logo appears. Type in "recovery=yes" (no quotations) You should be able to see the typing in the lower left corner. This should allow the 10v to boot into OSX. You can then remove LidSleep and run UpdateExtra. Hope it helps. |

thanks a lot this worked at last  you saved me from a lot of trouble thanks againby the way i am willing to know more about these terminal commands and stuff. can you suggest me a reference for that? |
