Yes, sure, I know that I wont be getting the full 100 Mbps from my ISP, but from experience over the years & using various computers in the house, I know that I can achieve about 70 Mbps, although the average is about 55.
The router is about 8 foot away, so pretty close.
I've been testing the internet speed on speedtest.net & time after time the dell gets 10.5 Mbps. However, using my PS3 (which is wired to the same router) im getting about 37 Mbps at the moment.
My ISP also provides a speed test page to customers & I get the same 10.5 Mbps result there. Unfortunately I cant try that on the PS3 since the Java applet is not compatible.
Are there any local network tests I can run that will report my wireless speeds? I guess i should confirm the connection to the router first before troubleshooting further.
