There are many posts regarding problems updating to 10.6.3/4, some have been successful but it seems to be hit and miss. In my opinion it's not worth it and you gain nothing regarding system additions or improvements. For 10.6.2...Download 'NetbookInstaller 0.8.3 RC5' to your Dell 10v, select your hard drive from the drop down menu, accept the defaults and install. Do not restart. Download the 10.6.2 updater from the Apple website and install. Restart. Run 'NetbookInstaller 0.8.3 RC5' again accepting the defaults and restart once more. If you want to go the 10.6.4 route see here... **OFFICIAL** Mac OS X 10.6.4 Update Thread Good luck. |
