I was wondering if anyone could direct me on how to upgrade, I got my dell mini a year ago and did the whole hackintosh thing and then never did any upgrades, I always avoid the system updates in fear that it would brick my mini, does anyone have any info on how I can do it? thank you! |

If I were you I'd only go to 10.6.2. There are many posts regarding problems updating to 10.6.3/4, some have been successful but it seems to be hit and miss. In my opinion it's not worth it and you gain nothing regarding system additions or improvements. For 10.6.2...Download 'NetbookInstaller 0.8.3 RC5' to your Dell 10v, select your hard drive from the drop down menu, accept the defaults and install. Do not restart. Download the 10.6.2 updater from the Apple website and install. Restart. Run 'NetbookInstaller 0.8.3 RC5' again accepting the defaults and restart once more.
