Default Closing Lid w/ External Display - 06-27-2010, 04:13 AM

Is it possible to use the netbook as a tower when plugged into an external display. Instead of extending the desktop, making the external monitor the primary and only display, allowing me to close my netbook without it going to sleep?

Thanks.

To close the lid and not have it sleep, install InsomniaX.

Although be aware that lots and lots of heat transfer takes place through the keyboard, and that closing the lid might cause your computer to overheat and shut down - or worse.
