Default 10V + 10.6.1... sleep issues - 06-24-2010, 12:57 AM

I had 10.6.1 running fine on my Dad's 10V (with A06 Bios). he made a huge mistake and upgraded to 10.6.2 and screwed it up big time. Now he finally came to visit me after 6 months (from Romania) and brought the 10V back. Took the HD out, put it in a MacBook, saves some documents, erase and installed 10.6, updated to 10.6.1, run NetBookMaker (the same version I run back in September 2009, I believe 0.8.2), shut down (never rebooted in MacBook after running NetBookMaker), put in 10v, booted up, run NetBookInstaller (0.8.3 RC3), got Kernel Panic once (just like it did back in 09/2009), reboot, run NetBookInstalled again and all seemed fine.

Now before in 2009 the computer worked perfectly, sound, sleep, all worked just like on a Mac. Now sleep won't work. I don't know what I did wrong, everything else works fine, but if the computer goes to sleep, you have to force a reboot.

Any ideas?

Try updating to 10.6.4 (or 10.6.3 for safety) by installing the latest version of NBI here : Then download SL Update and install, restart and everything will work. Remember to backup your data before updating.

USB Legacy Support? If enabled it affects my minis sleep.
