Default Cannot Downgrade to bios A04 - 06-18-2010, 01:36 PM

I managed to create a Dos boot key, i wrote R255278.exeon it, i booted
and launched the bios update with the two option (/forceit /forcetype).

The program starts, does a part of the work and stops with as error message
" File has different bios part number"

The current bios is A11.

A11 means you have a Mini 10 NOT a Mini 10v

Damned, it seems that my dell mini has the this freaking gma graphic card that is badly supported under linux and not at all under OSX.

It seems that The admins wanted to be nice to me and ordered the model with higher spec (better graphic card) , indeed the result is that i m stuck with linux and gnome, i loved linux but it get more buggy and less efficient each year ;-(, soon it will be as bad as windows.

I completely agree. I recommend installing Windows 7 on the machine.
