I bought this laptop already hackintoshed... dont have the original USB - I did buy his copy of OSX though... I tried upgrading the software like an idiot... now I just want to reformat the computer to its original settings (XP) - but my mini just keeps restarting.... and I can't boot from anything... not even external CD or from USB.... :/ any help would be great.

Go into the BIOS and enable the "Legacy USB" option.

This is a risk of buying a hackintosh already "done" - you aren't familiar with the environment to know how to solve problems. Hackintoshing is very much a "hands on" experience.

I assume you have a licensed copy of XP or restore CD.
