Somewhere on InsanelyMac, there's a way to flag an existing partition as a Boot Camp partition through the terminal; do a bunch of searches to find it. I'm too lazy to :P
But once you do that, it should recognize the W7 partition as a Boot Camp partition.

im also very intrersted in trying to get the bootcamp feature to work. My allows me to set up but then gives me an error saying it cant start up the disk, leading to a no operating system found error message.
