Arrow BootMaker Crashed, Avoid Starting OS X Install? - 05-08-2010, 01:07 AM

The 8GB memory key was going to take 7 hours it said, so I switched to using an external hard drive. The DVD copy happened in 35 minutes.

When I went to run the BOOTMAKER on my friend's MacBook it kept crashing (the most recent BM version). We then tried the installer not knowing what was the difference between the two, and it said it would not work on this Mac. He has Mac OS X 10.5.

My question is this: Can I try running the OSX install then run the BootInstaller via memory key? Or is it a lost cause?
